Role Description
We are seeking experienced Quant Traders to join our reputable fund and manage their own trading desk with P&L responsibilities. As a Quant Trader, you should have a proven track record in live trading, strong coding skills (Python and C++), and a keen interest in high-frequency and quantitative trading within the cryptocurrency market. This role involves extensive research and development, testing and implementing trading strategies, automating processes, and enhancing existing strategies while staying updated on new trading products and technological advancements.
Successful Candidates will possess:
- Demonstrable and profitable track record in crypto trading
- MSc/PhD in a research-intensive STEM field (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, etc.)
- Degree from a top-tier university
- Passion for developing quantitative trading strategies and analyzing large datasets
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic trading, with a focus on cryptocurrency
- Strong coding skills with 3 to 5 years of experience in Python and C++ (test required)
- Algorithmic trading experience (personal or professional) is essential
Desirable Skills:
- Prior experience as a Quantitative Trader/Researcher
- Experience in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, or Deep Learning
- Familiarity with the DeFi and Web 3.0 ecosystem
